What You Will Do
The Dental Assistant will support the dental team with both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Key duties include:
- Preparing patients for dental examinations
- Preparing dental instruments and filling materials
- Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Recording dental procedures performed on patients
- Performing reception and clerical duties
- Maintaining and ordering supplies
- Handling administrative functions for the dental laboratory
- Invoicing patients for dental services
- Polishing and buffing dentures
The role requires careful attention to detail and the ability to move between sitting, standing and walking throughout the working day.
Skills and Experience
