Home Delivery Services (HDS) is hiring multiple Pick Packers for its brand-new depot in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane QLD. These are casual positions with a genuine pathway to full-time employment as the new facility becomes fully operational.
The new depot is being built from the ground up, giving successful applicants the opportunity to join the operation from day one. HDS is looking for reliable, motivated and hardworking people who can ideally commit to around five days per week, with shifts varying according to operational requirements.

The Opportunity
Pick Packers will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders while meeting daily productivity and quality targets.
HDS has opportunities across four different operational environments. Each area has its own working conditions and requirements, so applicants should be prepared to work in the environment assigned to them.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Meeting daily productivity and performance targets
- Using RF scanners and WMS systems to process orders
- Checking and confirming orders before dispatch
- Maintaining required quality and accuracy standards
- Working closely with team members to support the launch of the new depot
- Following workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
- Handling products carefully and following relevant stock-control procedures

Experience and Relevant Skills
HDS is looking for applicants who can demonstrate:
- Previous warehouse pick/pack experience
- Experience in a 3PL or distribution centre environment is highly regarded
- Ability to perform repetitive manual handling throughout a full shift
- Previous LLOP experience, or the ability to learn the equipment quickly, for Ambient positions
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a chilled environment for Chiller and Thawback positions
- Confidence using RF scanners and WMS systems, or the ability to learn these systems quickly
- Understanding of warehouse safety and procedures
Qualifications and Work Requirements
Depending on the assigned work stream, successful applicants must be prepared to:
- Perform regular manual handling and lifting
- Work at a sustained pace throughout the shift
- Work in temperatures of approximately 0°C to 5°C in Chiller and Thawback areas
- Operate an LLOP for Ambient work or learn the required skills quickly
- Undergo security screening when working in the Confectionary/Security area
- Follow strict stock-control and accuracy requirements
- Commit to reliable attendance and punctuality
- Follow all WHS requirements
