Key Responsibilities

Your duties may include:

  • Scheduling assignments for vehicle operators, crews and equipment.
  • Coordinating the activities of truck drivers and other transportation crews.
  • Processing and transmitting information and instructions using dispatching equipment.
  • Keeping track of shipments and following up on work-order issues.
  • Maintaining vehicle operator work records.
  • Recording mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses.
  • Operating radio equipment to communicate with drivers and crews.

  • Performing general office duties related to transportation operations.
  • Providing customer service and responding to operational inquiries.

Requirements
