Home Delivery Services (HDS) is hiring Warehouse Pick Packers at its brand-new Acacia Ridge Depot in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. These are casual positions with a genuine pathway to full-time employment as the new facility becomes fully operational. Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Meeting daily productivity and order fulfilment targets.
- Using RF scanning equipment and warehouse management systems to process orders.
- Checking and confirming orders for accuracy before dispatch.
- Handling different types of stock according to warehouse procedures.
- Maintaining product quality and following correct stock rotation procedures.
- Working safely in ambient and temperature-controlled warehouse environments.
- Following all workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area.
- Working closely with team members to support the launch and smooth operation of the new depot.
- Performing repetitive manual handling and lifting throughout the shift where required.
- Following security and compliance procedures when working with controlled or high-value stock.

Requirements
Candidates should have:
- Previous warehouse pick and pack experience, preferably in a 3PL or distribution centre environment.
- The physical ability to perform repetitive manual handling and lifting throughout a full shift.
- Experience operating an LLOP for Ambient positions, or the ability to learn to operate one quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Willingness and ability to work in chilled conditions of approximately 0°C to 5°C for Chiller and Thawback positions.
- Understanding of correct stock rotation and handling procedures.
- Confidence using RF scanners and warehouse management systems, or the ability to learn these systems quickly.
- Integrity and trustworthiness for Confectionary/Security positions.
- Willingness to undergo security screening where required.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to contribute to a newly established operation.
